Turvey’s QuickBooks integration

An internal tool — not a public product

This page describes the QuickBooks integration used by Greaves & Harvey Ltd, trading as Turvey’s Fine Furniture. The integration is an internal accounting tool. It is used by our own staff, on our own company books, and it is not offered to customers or to any other business.

What it does

Our shop system records the day’s trade — sales, deposits, customer invoices, supplier bills and payments. The integration carries those records into our QuickBooks Online company so the accounts reflect what the shop actually did, without the figures being re-typed by hand.

Who can use it

Only authorised staff of Greaves & Harvey Ltd, signed in to our own systems. There is no sign-up, no customer-facing account and no public access.

The data involved

The integration works with our own business records: sales and purchase documents, their totals and VAT, and the supplier and customer names those documents are addressed to. It does not process card details — card payments are taken on a standalone terminal and never reach our systems.
